Lake Tahoe Lakers Set for Historic NCDC Home Opener on October 9

The countdown is on for a historic night in South Lake Tahoe as the Lake Tahoe Lakers host their first-ever home game as members of the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) on Friday, October 9, at South Tahoe Ice Arena. The Lakers will welcome the McCall Smokejumpers for the opening game of a three-game weekend series, marking the first time the two organizations have met in Lake Tahoe. Puck drop on October 9 officially begins a new era of Junior A hockey in the Basin, as fans get their first opportunity to watch the Lakers compete at one of the highest levels of junior hockey in North America.

The home opener promises to be an unforgettable weekend as the Lakers begin their inaugural NCDC home schedule in front of the Tahoe community.
